Locating Lucian in Bologna

To get to Bologna from the airport. British Airways fly to BLQ airport (Marconi International). Outside the airport, catch an airbus to town. You pay as you get on board. It costs about 5 euros. Airbuses come about once every twenty minutes. The journey takes about twenty minutes and arrives at the train station (statione ferroviale). Ryanair flies to Forli airport. When you exit the airport, there will be a coach to take you to Bologna. The journey takes about an hour. It arrives in Bologna at the Coach Station, about 200m east of the train station on the circumference road (viale).

To get to my address from the station. The station is north-center on the map. There are taxis there, which will take about fifteen minutes and 10 euros to get to my apartment (82 viale Carlo Pepoli). I always take the bus, from the stand marked in red at the train station. Buses come every ten to fifteen minutes. The bus stops very close to my house, and the journey takes about fifteen minutes. The stop near my house is marked in red on the map, and there's a second stop in case you miss the first. You could also ask the bus driver to let you know which stop to take (io cerco la fermata "Porta Sant'Isaia". Puo dirmi, per favore, dov'è). For all Bologna city buses you must buy a ticket before boarding, and then 'convalidate' it when you get on. You can buy tickets at a tobacconist or newspaper-kiosk. Ask for una bigletta per l'autobus per favore. It should cost under 1 euro.

To get to my apartment from my address. My address is marked with crosshairs near the west of the map. It is an appartment block just next door to Rolo Banco. Go through the gate to the front garden, and look for the first door on your right. My doorbell name (campinello) is listed as "Wischik/Loccisano". When buzzed through, take the elevator to the fourth floor.

Bus timetable for Forli. Forli airport (Aeroporto Ridolfi Forli) serves only a single flight each day, arriving around 9pm and departing after half an hour. And there is a single coach each day, leaving Bologna coach station (autostazione) in time for people departing, and coming back after the plane has arrived. (The plane is normally delayed, and the bus normally waits for it.)
