1/4 dough, with a few drops of green colouring |
Knead each piece of dough, adding extra flour as necessary so they are soft but not sticky. Place each in a bowl, cover with clingfilm, and leave to rise in a warm place 30–60 minutes or until doubled in size. |
Punch down the red dough to remove the air, then form into a log the length of your bread pan.
Roll out the white dough, wrap it around the red, and seal the seams.
Repeat with green. |
Place dough into greased bread pan. Leave to rise in a warm place until doubled in size. |
Bake in moderate oven for about 35 minutes. Remove from bread pan and leave on wire rack until completely cool. |
