Polish cucumber salad (mizeria)

This salad is called mizeria because Poles think it miserable not to be eating pork and potatoes. COMMENT Goes well with roast chicken.

2 cucumbers peel, slice thinly toss lightly
salt and pepper
sugar
lemon juice
dill chopped
1/2 cup sour cream   toss
Go easy on the lemon juice.
Prepare just before serving, since the cucumbers will release lots of liquid.
