Curried parsnip soup
This is much nicer than it sounds.

1oz butter     cook until sweating Simmer 30 minutes. Blend, thinning with milk as necessary.
5 parsnips roughly chopped
1 vegetable stock cube  
1 onion chopped
pinch cayenne  
spinkle ginger  
pinch chilli powder  
1 teaspoon garam marsala  
1/2 teaspoon turmeric  
water     cover with water
milk  
Garnish with croutons.
