Stuffed game hens

2 game hens Butterfly. (Cut along back bone; spread flat; remove tail, backbone and ribs; separate skin over breasts from meat.) Arrange hens skin-side up in baking dish. Place stuffing between skin and meat of breasts. Brush with butter, sprinkle with basil. Cover with foil, bake 50 minutes in moderate oven.
