. Makes one 8" tin. 3 steps
340g flour Mix until batter is thick. Bake 150°C (300°F) for 75-90mins until golden.
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 tbl cornstarch
280g caster sugar
280g soft butter
5 eggs
3 tbl milk
If using cocoa, yoghurt or buttermilk then add 1/2 tsp baking soda
